Content Management Systems from Floppyhat
More and more companies are switching to Content Management Systems these days for a number of reasons. The traditional static websites require a lot in the way of maintenance if they are to remain fressh and vibrant. This typically requires a dedicated and skilled web designer to look after the site to ensure it doesn't grow tired.
Content Management Systems overcome this by allowing the content manager or author, who doesn't need any specialist technical knowledge to manage content on the website. This allows the author to concentrate on the most important aspect of their website – the content – and make changes that have immediate and visible effect.
Content Management Systems are web-based, which allows the author to publish their content from anywhere in the world (assuming they have internet access).
CMS Websites
Floppyhat uses a combination of pre-existing HQ templates and CMS modules along with unique designs tailored to your brief. What you end up with is a fully personalised CMS website that your visitors will love and your staff will enjoy using.
- Mockups within 1 working day.
- Project cycle estimation is 4 working days (based on a 10 page website).
- Unlimited revisions during the project cyle.
- Help with domain name registration (if required).
- Help with server setup (if required).
- DVD containing a copy of all artwork.
Please note that before any work can go ahead with building this dynamic CMS website, a few things need to be in place first. Joomla requires an Apache Web Server, with MySQL and PHP support to run. Most web hosting companies offer these services, so this shouldn’t be an issue and Floppyhat can help sort this out for you (if required).
What's it going to cost?
A standard 10 page CMS website usually takes no more than 4 days to complete, assuming there are not too many revisions. It really depends on your requirements; a CMS website with fewer pages could be done in less than 4 days, whereas a CMS website with more pages will take longer - let's chat and I can give you a better idea.
